Hello, I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you from me, Aaliyah’s dad, and Aaliyah. We are so happy with how much Aaliyah has grown and developed during her time at the nursery. Rayners Lane Montessori cares for children from 6 months to 5 years, 7:30am to 6pm, 51 weeks a year. Days combine the EYFS with hands-on Montessori activities children choose for themselves, and our chef cooks fresh vegetarian meals on site every day. Extra sessions include Spanish with Minilingos, music with Tiny Mites and sports with Super Star Sports.

Our space
Rooms are set out by age, from a calm space for our youngest babies to pre-school areas where older children pick hands-on activities, like pouring, sorting and early counting, and stay with them for as long as their interest lasts. Our qualified teachers and Montessori-trained staff work alongside them in every room.

Outdoors
Our spacious outdoor area is used for gardening, sports and active play, so children spend part of every day planting, running and climbing. An on-site car park makes drop-off and collection straightforward.
Rayners Lane station, served by the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, is close by, making drop-off straightforward for families travelling from across Harrow. Local buses stop nearby along Rayners Lane and Alexandra Avenue, and on-site parking is available at the Beacon Community Centre for those driving in.

The curriculum brings together EYFS and Montessori, so children choose from dedicated learning areas and develop according to their individual needs. Across our three nurseries, rooms are set out by age, from calm baby spaces at Rayners Lane and Wembley Park to pre-school areas where a four-year-old works on early counting while a two-year-old practises pouring water from a small jug.

Our baby room is a calm, home-from-home environment where each child has a dedicated key person from day one. Low lighting, sensory play, and a flexible routine built around each baby's natural rhythms.
Toddlers
Ages 2 to 3 years · 1:4 ratio
A typical day
The toddler room is a busy, curious place. Children explore through messy play, construction, books, and daily outdoor sessions. Language, independence, and friendships develop fast at this age.
Pre-school
Ages 3 to 5 years · 1:8 ratio

Our pre-school room prepares children for the transition to Reception with a balance of structured learning and child-led discovery. We offer 15 and 30-hour funded places for eligible families.

Getting started
Each of our three nurseries combines the EYFS with Montessori learning, where children choose hands-on activities for themselves and stay with them at their own pace. Our team includes qualified teachers, Montessori-trained staff and NVQ practitioners, and speaks several languages, so children from many backgrounds feel at home. At Rayners Lane and Wembley Park, our chefs cook fresh vegetarian meals every day.
We have three nurseries: East Lane in North Wembley, Rayners Lane, and Wembley Park. Let us know which area is nearest to you and we can tell you more about that setting, including its outdoor space.
Rayners Lane welcomes children from 6 months and Wembley Park from 3 months, both up to 5 years. East Lane is a nursery and pre-school for children aged 2 to 5. At every nursery we work closely with local primary schools so the move to Reception is a smooth one.
We'd always encourage a visit before registering, so you can see the rooms, the outdoor space and the daily routine for yourself. Book online or call us on 020 8908 6032 and we'll arrange a time that suits you at your nearest nursery.
Availability depends on the setting and age group, and places across East Lane, Rayners Lane and Wembley Park do fill throughout the year. Fees and funding
Yes. All three nurseries offer the universal 15 hours for 3 and 4 year olds and 30 hours for eligible working families. Rayners Lane and Wembley Park are open 51 weeks a year, so funded hours can be stretched across the year, while East Lane runs in term time. We're happy to talk you through the options for your child.
